Iran has failed to confirm or deny the presence of a missing TV journalist in the country. Syria detained Al Jazeera’s Dorothy Parvaz after she arrived there last month. The channel later said she had been deported to Iran. Increasingly concerned for her welfare, it is demanding her immediate release.
