“Cities play an important role for growth” ASEAN, or the Association of Southeast Asian Nations is one of Europe’s biggest trading partners. Only the US, followed by China, has more trade. But investing in this part of the world is not always plain sailing. In the small Indonesian village of Padarincang some 80 kilometres from Jakarta locals are resisting plans by French food and drinks giant Danone to build a water bottle factory.
