Martelly sworn in as Haiti’s president

Former singer Michel Martelly has been sworn in as the president of Haiti.

The 50-year-old, who has no previous political experience, was elected to the post in March after a run-off.

Martelly has said that rebuilding the quake-hit island’s ravaged economy is his number one priority
