A petrol bomb attack by a disgruntled bank employee in a rural part of northern China has injured 39 people, according to the state Xinhua news agency.
Earlier reports had said that the attack in Tianzhu County in Gansu province had left many dead as well as wounded.
Reports say the man had been sacked last month, accused of corruption. He is said to have thrown the home-made device into a crowded meeting room, setting it on fire.
