The motor car is 125 years old. Carl Benz, as in Mercedes Benz, is credited with having applied for the first patent for a car back in 1886.
To mark the occasion a parade of 125 classic German motors has taken place in Stuttgart.
Germany is also issuing a special commemorative stamp to celebrate the birth of the automobile.
