Man United booked their place in the Champions League final against Barcelona after a 4-1 demolition of Shalke 04 at Old Trafford in the semi-final second leg.
United took a two goal lead into the match and rested key players ahead of their championship decider against Chelsea on Sunday.
No matter, the eleven sent out were more than a match for the Germans as first Valencia then Gibson extended United’s lead.
Shalke grabbed a consolation, but an Anderson second half brace buried the tie.
Manchester United play Barcelona in the Champions League final at Wembley on May 28.
