Hundreds of thousands of expectant well-wishers lined London’s Mall on Friday to catch a glimpse of the Royal newlyweds Prince William and Kate Middleton, who will now be known as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
As the couple passed by in an open-topped state landau, the onlookers were treated to a sumptuous show of British pomp and pageantry.
The event also attracted a huge worldwide TV audience, estimated at around 2 billion viewers.
