A huge fire has broken out in woodland in Belgium’s Les Fagnes in the east of the country.
The area of natural beauty went up in flames on Monday evening as around 300 firefighters were mobilised to bring the blaze under control.
A firefighting helicopter doused the area with water and emergency services said the blaze is now under control.
Around 1,000 hectares of vegetation have been destroyed. No official statement has been made on the cause of the fire.
