Roman ruins discovered near Naples

Italian police have uncovered a Roman Mausoleum under an illegal dumping ground close to Naples.

The structure dates from the second century and was discovered as police raided the 1,700 sq metre area.

As they cleared away the rubbish the entrance to the mausoleum was revealed leading to an interior space decorated with marble.
