Not good news for the Emerald Isle as Moodys cut Ireland’s rating by two points almost to the verge of junk status to keep the outlook negative.

The euro fell as a result increasing the pressure on the euro zones weaker countries.

Moodys also warned that Ireland may have to take further austerity measures to meet it’s fiscal targets.
