French police have captured two suspected members of the Basque terrorist group ETA after a shootout at a road checkpoint in central France.
The couple sped through the night-time roadblock wounding one officer and then vanished in the Creuse region.
A major police operation led to the arrest of the pair in the morning after another exchange of gunfire.
