Russian's most-wanted terrorism suspect killed?

Reports in Russia say one of the country’s most wanted terrorism suspects may have been killed in clashes with soldiers.

The fighting took place in a village in Ingushetia, reportedly leaving at least 17 suspected militants and three soldiers dead.

But there is no confirmation of the death of terrorism suspect Doku Umarov. He claimed responsibility for the January bombing at Moscow’s biggest airport which killed 37 people.

Officials say that during the special operation in Ingushetia, two citizens were detained: Iles and Islam Yandiev.

The brothers are accused of taking a suicide bomber to Domodedovo airport on January 24.

The deadly clashes in Ingushetia come exactly a year after suicide bomb attacks in the Moscow metro left 40 people dead.

Umarov also claimed responsibility for those attacks.
