Tunisian migrants missing after boat capsizes

Up to 35 migrants sailing from Tunisia to Italy are missing after their boat capsized.

The vessel was en route to the Italian Island of Lampedusa.

One witness said it was carrying more than twice its capacity of passengers.

Thousands of Tunisians have landed on the island since their country’s revolution, using it as a stepping stone to mainland Europe.
