Car-bomb devastation at Pakistani gas store


In Pakistan at least 25 people were killed when a car bomb exploded at a filling station.
The blast in Faisalabad set-off gas-cylinders destroying several buildings and vehicles nearby. The Taliban have said they did it.
More than a hundred people were wounded.

The military have said campaigns against the Taliban, which has links to al-Qaeda, have weakened the insurgents, but bombings are still common.

The filling station was packed with compressed natural gas – a popular vehicle fuel in Pakistan. Police said the car bomb was parked at the filling station when it exploded. Many of those who were killed and injured were queuing to fill up.
