Teachers protest in Mexico against Calderon's visit
Police fired tear gas and clashed for several hours with teachers protesting against a visit by President Felipe Calderon to Mexico’s southern city of Oaxaca. The protests were reminiscent of the unrest that paralysed the southern city for five months in 2006 and left at least a dozen people dead.
