An arrest warrant has been issued for the former president of Pakistan, Pervez Musharraf, in connection with the assassination of former Prime Minister, Benazir Bhutto.
The anti-terrorist court ordered Musharraf to appear before the court on February the 19th.
He came to power in 1999, but has spent the past three years in self imposed exile in London and Dubai.
Benazhir Bhutto was one of his political rivals. She returned to Pakistan in 2007 after years of self-imposed exile.
She was killed in a gun and suicide bomb attack in 2007 at a rally of her supporters in Rawalpindi.
Her assassination remains largely unsolved. But a report by Pakistan’s Federal Investigation Agency linked Musharraf to the incident.
A spokesman for Musharraf says he will not attend the hearing.
