New York Fashion Week has got underway.
It’s going to be a seven-day marathan of early starts and late nights for many models – who do, on average, three shows a day.
On day one, it was all cosyness and sobriety for Richard Chai’s show: the US designer’s Fall/Winter collection featured layers of coats and vests of wool in mineral shades, and long, earthy dresses.
