The man behind the music of James Bond, John Barry, has died at the age of 77.
The British composer worked on scores for 12 Bond films between 1962 and 1987.
His work also won him five Oscars for the films Born Free, Out of Africa and Dances with Wolves.
His arrangement of the James Bond signature theme music became instantly recognisable to film goers across the world but he scored more than 80 films including Midnight Cowboy.
His final work was for the film Enigma in 2001 but his lasting legacy will be Bond, James Bond.
