The under age sex allegations enveloping Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi just got worse after prosecutors issued fresh details.
In addition to a Moroccan dancer known as Ruby, magistrates now say a Brazilian prostitute named Iris also attended one of the premiers alleged erotic parties days before she turned 18. Paying for sex to someone under the age of 18 is illegal in Italy.
The latest evidence was leaked after new documents were sent to a parliamentary committee. Prosecutors are seeking a warrant to search the office of Berlusconi’s accountant, who is suspected of dispensing money and gifts to the women. But the committee has rejected the request, accusing the investigators of incompetence, meaning it will now go to a vote in parliament.
Italy’s media also say police phone records prove the Brazilian girl attended wild parties at the billionaire’s villas in Milan and Sardinia.
The 74-year-old, however, has furiously denied all the allegations against him describing the investigation as scandalous and politically motivated.
Despite that, the fresh accusations have increased calls for Berlusconi to quit.
