Petrol prices pile pain on European consumers Researchers in Europe have come up with a cleaner alternative to power some of the world’s biggest polluters: cruise-ships and ferries.
They have developed a fuel cell the size of a house, called the “molten carbonate fuel cell,” which produces clean energy – a first in Europe.
