A woman kidnapped as a baby from a US hospital 23 years ago has been reunited with her mother.
Carlina White was abducted in August 1987, when she was just 19 days old at the hospital in Harlem, New York.
She was raised as Nejdra Nance in Connecticut, but grew suspicious when the woman who raised her, Ann Pettway, could never provide a birth certificate. Carlina then began her own investigation via the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
The 23-year-old has since been spending time getting to know her mother and half-sister.
Police are now on the hunt for the kidnapper with suspicions falling on a woman who may have been posing as a nurse at the time of the abduction.
