Leprosy – the forgotten disease

You might think that leprosy is a disease of the past, but millions across the world still suffer the body wasting disease.

New treatments offer hope but there are fears it could make a comeback, particularly in poverty stricken countries in Africa and Asia.

This week, on Reporter, euronews has travelled to Mali to take a look at efforts to combat the disease.
