Bestselling Brazilian author Paulo Coelho has placed the Persian versions of his books free online after Iranian authorities banned them.

The reason for the censorship is not clear but Coelho’s Iranian editor, Arash Hejazi, was captured on video trying to save the life of Neda Agha-Soltan, a demonstrator killed during the anti-government unrest in 2009 following the country’s disputed election.
