Poland's Kaczynski slams Russian crash report

Lech Kaczynski’s twin brother has slammed the Russian report as a joke, saying it puts all the blame on Poland without any proof.

Jaroslaw Kaczynski, an opposition leader, also called the report one-sided and insulting.

Audio from the flight recorder was played in Moscow today and appeared to show that crew members feared Kaczynski would be angry if they aborted plans to land.

The Polish airforce chief was also in the cockpit.

“We have no answers to many questions of key importance. For instance, why Russian air controllers were misguiding Polish pilots and giving them false information. This report is a joke against Poland, which is exploiting the submissive attitude of the government of Donald Tusk. It’s necessary to continue all efforts to find the truth,” Opposition leader Jaroslaw Kaczynski said.

Jaroslaw Kaczynski said his right-wing Law and Justice party would urge the Polish parliament to reject the report.
