Ice cream for cancer sufferers

Normally, eating ice cream is simply a pleasurable pastime. Now, it’s believed it could help combat the side-effects of chemotherapy in cancer patients.

Scientists in New Zealand have been working on a special kind of dessert called Recharge, which uses active ingredients contained in dairy products to relieve diarrhoea, anaemia and lack of appetite.
