Thousands flee north Sudan before referendum
Hundreds of thousands of southern Sudanese are fleeing the north to return to their homes in the south ahead of Sunday’s referendum, which is likely to split Africa’s largest country in two. The US Consul-General to Juba, Barrie Walkley, said that more than 150,000 people have arrived in southern Sudan since 1st November.
