More dead birds fall from US skies

Blackbirds are having a hard time staying alive in the United States at the moment.

Just days after 5,000 plummeted to their deaths from the Arkansas sky, hundreds of their feathery friends have met a similarly strange end in neighbouring Louisiana.

The dead bird mystery has also spread to European skies.

Residents of Falköping, Sweden found some 100 dead jackdaws lying in the road.

Their bodies are being to tested to determine the cause of death.
