Scores buried beneath a mudslide in Colombia

world news

As many as 200 people are believed to have been buried in a landslide in Colombia.

It’s the latest in a series of weather related disasters to befall the South American country.

Heavy rains have recently left at least 176 people dead with one and a half million made homeless.

Sunday’s landslide overwhelmed 10, three-story houses near Colombia’s second city of Medellin.

Locals rushed to the scene using their bare hands or whatever they could find to dig through the rubble in a bid to find their missing friends.
