Six dead in China cafe blast


An explosion has killed six people and injured 37 at an Internet cafe in southwest China.

The blast happened in Kaili in Guizhou province.

Eleven of those hurt were seriously injured.

The explosion was so powerful it shattered the windows of nearby residential buildings.

Police are still trying to determine what caused the incident.

Emergency personnel pulled several victims from the debris and ambulances transported those hurt to nearby hospitals.

The search continued late into the night for victims and survivors.
