US rapper Eminem leads the field in this year’s prestigious Grammy Awards with 10 nominations, including album, song and record of the year.
For many, it’s a remarkable comeback for the 38 year-old hip-hop star after spending years battling drug addition. He sang a duet with Rihanna.
Other leading nominees this year include rising R and B star Bruno Mars who received seven nods, while rapper Jay-Z, flamboyant pop star Lady Gaga and country group Lady Antebellum picked up six nominations each. Pop artist Katy Perry also got a nomination for best album.
The awards are due to be handed out in Los Angeles on 13 February.
