Somalia: US commandos free pirate hostages A four hour armed siege at a high school in the US state of Wisconsin has ended with all 24 hostages being released unharmed.
Earlier a 15-year-old student brandishing a handgun burst into a classroom where 23 classmates and their teacher were having a lesson.
The school in the town of Marrinette was quickly surrounded by police who began trying to persuade the gunman to give himself up by phone.
It is not know why the youngster acted as he did.
