Sweden’s economy is going from strength to strength, bucking the trend of its European neighbours. Swedish GDP for the third quarter jumped 2.1 percent compared to the previous three months and almost seven percent from the same period last year. A relatively small budget deficit has allowed Stockholm to stimulate domestic growth, while exports also remain strong.
