Hybrid tie-up for Toyota and Ford Toyota will launch 11 more cars with hybrid engines by the end of 2012.
They also plan on an rechargeable model of the existing Prius, which could cost under 27,000 euros. The new Prius can be plugged in, to allow longer distance driving, using only electricity.
The car company has always been at the forefront of eco-technology in their vehicles, at the moment selling fourteen cars with hybrid engines.
