Euro2012 mascots unveiled

The official mascots for the Euro2012 football championships were officially unveiled on Tuesday.

With spiked hair and sporting the national colors of Poland and Ukraine the punk-looking twins will animate the crowds at the tournament co-hosted by the two countries.

The mascots were unveiled during a ceremony in Warsaw and so far Trix and Flix’s successors remain nameless.

They will have their names picked for them by fans in online voting with participants having the choice of Slavek and Slavko, Siemko and Strimko or Klemek and Ladko.

Four cities in each country will host the 31 games in the 16-team tournament which begins on June 8th 2012.
