A tsunami that hit remote islands in western Indonesia after an earthquake has killed more than 100 people.
Some 500 others are missing.
Villages were swept away by freak waves that followed Monday’s 7.5 magnitude quake off the coast of Sumatra.
Among those unaccounted for is a group of up to 10 Australians whose surfers’ tourist boat has been out of radio contact.
The latest such tragedy comes six years after the deadliest tsunami on record.
Triggered by a quake of more than 9 magnitude off Sumatra, it killed around a quarter of a million people.
