Rescued Chilean miners struggle to rebuild their lives Riding on the positive wave of the miners’ rescue.
Chile’s President has been warmly received in London, just days after greeting the miners as they were hoisted to safety.
Sebastian Piñera said: “The Chilean people feel very proud and very united. And we feel that we are stronger than before the accident. I think also that Chile is more respected and more valued worldwide”.
The Chilean President will meet the British Prime Minister and the Queen. It is reported he will present them with stones from the mine.
