Socialite Paris Hilton has left Japan after being denied entry to the country.
The 29-year-old was questioned for six hours by officials at Narita Airport.
In Japan, immigration authorities can deny entry to anyone convicted of drug-related offences.
On Monday in the US, Hilton had pleaded guilty to possessing cocaine, after 0.8 grams of the drug were found in a purse during a recent arrest.
She was given a one-year suspended sentence, fined two thousand dollars and ordered to do community service.
A member of the family that founded the famous hotel chain, Hilton has developed a successful career in promotion and endorsments.
