Non-European sales boost for Renault


Renault is en route to sell as many cars outside Europe as within it in just two years.

Non-European sales currently account for 40 per cent of the French carmaker’s total – up from 11 per cent in 1999.

The company says the figure will reach 50 per cent by 2013.

It expects the European market to dip by 7 per cent this year but warns of a greater drop next year.
