Team Captain Guy Forget has picked picked Michael Llodra and Gael Monfils to lead the challenge, Arnaud Clement has gained a recall while Gilles Simon was named as a substitute.

The Argentine team was no surprise with Juan Monaco and David Nalbandian spearheading the Argentine assault.

Completing the Argentine squad are joined by Eduardo Schwank and Horacio Zeballos.

Forget: “David (Nalbandian) is one of the best players in the world indoors. When he is having a good day he is beating all the best guys in the world. We want to really focus on what is going to happen here and with support of the crowd, you know hopefully by Sunday we can win three points.”

France have won the Davis Cup nine times, most recently in 2001 when they beat Australia in Melbourne, while Argentina, who reached the final twice in the last four years, have yet to win the title.
