According to a European source the World Trade Organisation has ruled against Boeing in its legal battle with rival planemaker Airbus.
The WTO has ruled Boeing received 15.3 billion euros from the state in the form of research grants and tax breaks, and has called for them to be withdrawn.
The ruling follows the WTO finding against Airbus in June in a similar case brought by Boeing.
