Volvo puts the hammer down as sales jump

Swedish truckmaker Volvo has seen deliveries soar by 62 percent year-on-year last month. The world number two saw sales rise by 94 percent in Europe and by 56 percent in America. It is more evidence that the global economic recovery is under way, and Volvo is ramping up production to meet the demand. It also sells vehicles under the Renault, Mack, UD, and Eicher brands.
