Peace talks between the Israelis and the Palestinians have moved to Jerusalem, a day after a meeting between the two sides in Egypt.
US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said both sides were “getting down to business” but warned there would be tough negotiations ahead.
“There will always be obstacles and setbacks, it is a given,” she said.
Direct talks between the Israeli and Palestinians last broke down 21 months ago over Israel’s bombing of the Gaza strip.
This time, the Palestinians say they will walk away unless Israel extends its freeze on settlement building in the West Bank.
Other issues to resolve include the status of Jerusalem and the borders of a future Palestinian state.
