The world’s highest-earning telecoms operator Vodafone has sold its 3.2 percent stake in China Mobile for just over five billion euros. That’s nearly double what it paid for the shares at the beginning of the decade. It’s all part of Vodafone’s strategy of shedding its non-strategic minority investments, which analysts believe have been something of a burden on the group’s overall value.
