In a case that first came to light in the early 90s, well-known figures have been found guilty of abusing youngsters at a children’s home in Lisbon.
A driver has been jailed for 18 years after being accused of organising a paedophile ring involving children at the Casa Pia home.
A popular television presenter has been jailed for seven years, while a former diplomat has also been sent to prison for six years and eight months.
Three other men have also received jail terms, while a woman has been acquitted.
