Airport X- ray machine saves tiger cub

Authorities at Bangkok’s international airport found a tiger cub in a passenger’s suitcase bound for Iran.

It had been drugged and hidden beside a toy tiger in an apparent ploy to fool any inspection.

The cub estimated to be about three months old was exhausted and dehydrated. He wasn’t able to walk.

Officials sent the case through the x ray machine suspecting something was amiss as it was overweight.

A woman was arrested claiming another passenger had asked her to carry the case for her.

The cub has been sent to a wildlife conservation centre in Bangkok.
