A Chinese airliner with 91 passengers on board has crashed in the north east of the country.
State media say 42 bodies have been recovered at the scene.
Initial indications are that 49 people have been taken to a local hospital for treatment.
The plane crashed as it came in to land near Lindu Airport in the city of Yichun just after 10pm in the evening local time on Tuesday.
Rescue workers say it appears to have slid off the runway.
The jet, belonging to Chinese company Henan Airlines, had taken off from Heilongjiang’s capital, Harbin, just over an hour earlier.
