Northwest Pakistan has been hit by a series of bombings that have claimed dozens of lives.
The deadliest blast was at a mosque in South Waziristan. At least 26 people were killed in a suicide bombing there.
A further seven died when a bomb went off during a meeting of elders in Kurram tribal region and three people – the leader of an anti-Taliban militia and two aides – were killed in a blast on the outskirts of Peshawar.
Meanwhile missiles fired from US unmanned drone aircraft killed 13 militants and seven civilians after hitting a militant compound and neighbouring house in North Waziristan.
