On Monday BP updated the cost of dealing with its ruptured oil well in the Gulf of Mexico to the equivalent of 4.6 billion euro.
That includes 240 million euros in compensation payments to more than 100,000 businesses and individuals affected by the spill.
BP also confirmed that no oil is leaking from the well since it was successfully plugged on the fifteenth of July.
