Israeli and Lebanese troops have exchanged fire on the Israel-Lebanon border.

Two people in Lebanon are reported to have been injured, and the UN is calling for “maximum restraint” on both sides.

Artillery shells are reported to have been used by Israel.

There are conflicting reports on who started the clashes.
