Cuban dissident Guillermo Farinas is making a slowl but encouraging following his four-month hunger strike, his mother told Euronews in an exclusive interview.

He’s currently receving treatment in hospital in Santa Clara.

Alicia Hernandez told euronews by telephone that her son is “still in a serious condition but “getting better.”

“He is awake and conscious. He appears more lively and his blood pressure is normal. He is in a lot pf pain as his body deterioated during the hunger strike,” she said.
